Sleeping Bag Seminar @UMass Lowell, Feb 2011

The Honors Program at UMass Lowell invites any interested WSU students to a 2-day “Sleeping Bag Seminar” they are hosting February 4-6, 2011, on their Lowell campus. Download the complete information in their flyer here.

The weekend’s theme is “More Than Mills: Exploring Ethnicity, Honoring History, and Inspiring Innovation
in the Cradle of the American Industrial Revolution.” There will be events and tours, ethnic food, a film, and socializing. Aside from a few minor incidental expenses (you are on your own for one meal), the seminar is FREE.

If you’d like to go, the deadline is January 11th. For more info or to sign up, contact Dr. Julie Nash, English Department, UMass Lowell, Julie_Nash (at) uml (dot) edu, or call her office # at 978-934-2798. If you’re planning to attend, also let Dr. Boehm or Gabby know so they can record it as an honors event for you.

Looks like it will be a great weekend!
